Our tours through the Winneke Water Treatment Plant, have ceased but we now offer a catchment management/water treatment tour at Sugarloaf Reservoir Park from Term 1, 2025. Tours are available Tuesdays to Fridays, from 9 am - 3 pm. Our morning session is usually 10.30 am - 12 pm, and the afternoon session is 12.30 - 2 pm.

learn how Yarra River water is turned into drinkable water for Melbourne
understand treatment processes such as filtration, sedimentation, coagulation and disinfection
discover how water catchments are managed and reservoir parks contribute to biodiversity and sustainability
Most suitable for Grade 3 and above.
Cost: from $14 + GST per student. Minimum number 20 students.
